Welcome Hotel Cambodiana!!!
It was about 30 years ago when we first signed the then Sofitel Cambodiana for the CLS PMS System. It was then among the very few reputable hotels there but this was the only hotel which sat majestically on the banks of the Tonle Sap river. My memory includes going out of the hotel at night with hardly any street lights and soldiers with AK47’s on the road!
Last week, UbiQ Global Solutions together with our Cambodian partner, eCam Solution, signed this Grand Old Dame, now called Hotel Cambodiana, again to implement the Wish PMS, Touche POS and QikRes Booking Engine. This was indeed very nostalgic for me and am so happy to have this old friend back in the UbiQ fold!
The historic Hotel Cambodiana in Phnom Penh, designed by the famous Cambodian architect Lu Ban Hap, is a stunning example of New Khmer Architecture. This architectural style beautifully combines traditional Khmer designs with modern elements. Since its construction in the 1960s, the hotel has become a beloved symbol of Cambodian hospitality, attracting both local and international guests with its iconic facade and magnificent interiors.
